Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the healthcare journey of our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing and routing prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Communicating with doctors and insurance agencies to resolve issues and facilitate claims
- Utilizing excellent data entry skills to support team success and maintain high productivity levels
- Providing exceptional customer care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Technician certification in GA
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Proven data entry experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- Specialty pharmacy experience
- Claims processing experience, with the ability to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and review claim issues
