Position Summary: General accounting, fixed assets, trend analysis, business insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing journal entries and conducting month end close task with minimal supervision.
  • Preparing account reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit card statements.
  • Reconciling intercompany balances.
  • Preparing documentation for external auditors.
  • Collaborating with preparation of annual budgets.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ability to work the designated shift for the position.
  • Demonstrates initiative in understanding process flows and controls.
  • Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.
  • Abides by all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or adheres to company HIPAA policies and procedures.
  • Ensures integrity of data entered into company systems and/or databases.
  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to work in a regular schedule and shift for the position.
  • Compliance with all personnel policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and related essential duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of working experience as general accountant
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
  • Understanding of month end closing process (full-cycle accounting)
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Advance level Excel, Pivot tables, V-lookups)
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Position is remote and the location of candidate is flexible within the U.S.
