Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Outfitters, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling customer inquiries across all channels, resolving issues related to orders, returns, billing, shipping, and product concerns.
  • Converting service interactions into sales by recommending products, suggesting alternatives, and promoting gift card use.
  • Using advanced training, systems, and resources to provide efficient, personalized support, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Staying up to date on current promotions, procedures, and tools to ensure accurate and timely information is shared with customers.
  • Applying feedback and coaching to enhance performance and grow within the role.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a virtual or call center environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to type and operate multi-channel systems (phone, email, chat)
  • Ability to read documents, reports, computer screens, and other written communication
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a virtual or call center environment
  • Knowledge of CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Experience with sales and upselling/cross-selling techniques
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
