Sales Manager, Energy Transition

Join the team of bold professionals at Enersense! We are now looking for a Sales Manager, Energy Transition.

In this role, you will strengthen our sales operations, drive growth, and focus improving our customer activities and relationships with your team. Energy Transition delivers solutions, services, and project executions that enable the energy transition for industrial and energy customers across the asset lifecycle, improving efficiency, reliability, and decarbonization.

Key responsibilities

  • Customer acquisition and development of key accounts at Nordics
  • Identify leads and opportunities à building sales pipeline
  • Develop and grow industrial customer relationships
  • Maintain active market and customer reviews and follow‑ups, translating customer investment and service needs into clear sales priorities
  • Drive bid/tender and contracting excellence: lead sales projects and negotiations, ensure pricing principles, commercial quality, risk identification, and profitability
  • Leverage internal collaboration and build strong cooperation with Enersense’s business lines and support functions
  • Actively develop and continuously improve your own work practices and sales processes

The Sales Manager position reports to the Head of Sales, Energy Transition and is part of the Energy Transition Business Unit Sales team. The location of the position can be any of our offices and you have the flexibility to work remotely. However, the position requires the possibility to travel regularly.

How to succeed in this role?

To succeed as Sales Manager, you must combine hands-on commercial and technical skills with strong customer understanding and a drive for growth. The role requires an active approach to field work, with frequent customer meetings to capture market opportunities, build a high‑quality sales pipeline, and convert it into actual sales projects.

You thrive by maintaining strong customer focus - building trust, managing key accounts, and nurturing long-term partnerships across the industrial ecosystem. Success also requires strong internal collaboration: aligning sales, technical experts, project delivery, and other functions around a shared commercial agenda to create customer value and win together.

Previous experience in industrial services business is an advantage, as it ensures a strong customer understanding, which is essential for success in this role. Fluency in Finnish and English is essential for the role, while skills in an additional Nordic language are beneficial.
