Product Owner – CIAM/MyHBK 

Department: Digital  Location: Remote within Portugal  Employment Type: Full-time  Reporting To: Team lead Customer Platform Management

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Product Owner for HBK's Customer Identity & Access Platform and inherent MyHBK environment. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and prioritizing the team/product backlog to streamline the execution of program/roadmap priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the platform. 

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver platform features that drive operational excellence and business growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Vision & Strategy: 

  • Define the vision and roadmap for HBK’s Customer Identity & Access Platform and MyHBK in alignment with organizational goals and market needs.  

  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, industry standards, and compliance requirements to shape the platform’s future. 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for CIAM and MyHBK.  

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal teams to understand user needs and translate them into platform features and improvements. 

Backlog Management: 

  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and organizational goals. 

  • Work closely with development teams to write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. 

Delivery Oversight: 

  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of high-value features. 

  • Monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure product increments meet stakeholder expectations and security standards 

Platform Optimization: 

  • Drive enhancements that improve security, user experience, scalability, and performance. 

  • Identify and implement features that optimize platform usage, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency for platform users. 

Performance Tracking: 

  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure platform performance, adoption, and user satisfaction. 

  • Use analytics and feedback to prioritize improvements and inform strategic decisions.  

Qualifications and Skills 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent experiences may be considered. 

Experience: 

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in Project Management, preferably in identity or access management platforms. 

  • Strong knowledge of CIAM models, identity standards and protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, JWT. 

  • Familiarity with security concepts such as MFA, adaptive authentication, and Zero Trust. 

  • Affinity with Microsoft infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Entra and Azure. 

  • Experience working with enterprise-grade solutions and integrating third-party systems (Salesforce, Adobe, S4/HANA). 

Skills: 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities 

  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems 

  • Leadership mindset with a hands-on attitude 

  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Scrum, Azure DevOps). 

  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. 

  • Fluent in English 

Certifications (Preferred): 

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
