Experienced Part-Time Customer Service/Lot Attendant – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex

Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Customer Service/Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, both in-person and over the phone
• Assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, including rentals, equipment inspections, and returns
• Using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels
• Answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services
• Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental
• Installing hitches and trailer wiring
• Filling propane (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment)
• Driving a forklift (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment)
• Participating in ongoing continuous education through arenaflex University
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record

• Available to work part-time, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to be flexible with inside and outside duties (part of the duties includes sanitizing trucks)
• Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or rental environment

• Experience working with technology, including smartphones and computer systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in propane filling and forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Familiarity with U-Haul products and services (or willingness to learn)
