A Day in the Life as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, and you'll play a critical role in helping them navigate the billing process and resolve their outstanding balances. You'll actively listen to patients, empathize with their concerns, and work with them to find solutions that meet their needs. Your ability to quickly resolve problems while remaining positive is essential to your success, and you'll be rewarded with the knowledge that you've helped someone in their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone, actively listening to their concerns and working with them to resolve their outstanding balances

  • Navigate the billing process, negotiating and collecting payments as needed
  • Utilize your knowledge of healthcare billing and finance to provide accurate and timely information to patients
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in healthcare billing and finance, with a strong understanding of HIPAA
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

Work Schedule:

Our Healthcare Customer Service Representatives enjoy flexibility through three schedule options: M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
