Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Representative, you'll play a critical role in our medical records and claims processing team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately and efficiently entering medical data into our systems, including patient information, medical history, and treatment plans
- Reviewing and processing new cases, including medical reviews, claims, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents, including converting files to PDF format and inserting tables
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure the secure handling of sensitive patient information
- Collaborating with our team to resolve any data entry errors or discrepancies
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare data management
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in healthcare, including experience working in a healthcare facility or with medical records
- Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience working with medical claims, EOBs, and diagnosis codes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and column insertion
- Certification in medical coding or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Hourly rate: $16.00 - $16.00 per hour
