Responsibilities

As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting passengers with baggage pick-up and ensuring accurate tracking of luggage using computer systems.
  • Resolving passenger issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items with professionalism and empathy.
  • Handling customer interactions with efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive attitude.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned, within the scope of your skills and experience.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to lift weights of 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Must be able to navigate jetway stairs safely and remain alert to moving vehicles and aircraft.
  • Proficiency in using radio equipment for communication.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Hold a High School diploma or GED.
  • Possess a valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and a 10-year background check.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport authority identification and security.
