IT Engineer I

Job Description:

As an IT Support Engineer I, you will be the first line of support for internal teams including Operations, Product Development, and Professional Services. You’ll handle lower-tier IT issues, manage support tickets, and assist with identity and access management tasks in Microsoft Entra ID and AWS IAM. Your work will directly impact productivity by ensuring our hardware, software, and SaaS tools run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of internally reported incidents, assessing both business and technical impacts.
  • Onboard employees to C&R Software’s support portal and processes.
  • Manage work assignments and priorities with guidance from management.
  • Support installation and configuration of C&R hardware.
  • Provide IT assistance to staff and customers across departments.
  • Train end-users on hardware and software usage.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
  • Update software and upgrade hardware as needed.
  • Stay current with IT support trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID).
  • Basic understanding of AWS accounts and IAM.
  • Familiarity with Apple devices and macOS.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications.
  • Ability to create and automate workflows.
  • Strong remote troubleshooting and support skills.
