Responsibilities

As a BMV Floating Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting customer transactions using your job knowledge and ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Answering customer questions and providing guidance to resolve their queries.
  • Assisting with the daily opening and closing of the branch, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Checking transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and proper accounting to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Working with leadership to resolve escalated customer concerns and system problems, providing a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Filing applications as completed throughout the day, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing.
  • Traveling to other branch locations within the Region based on operational need, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication and customer service skills.
  • Customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Top-notch communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • A high level of critical thinking and troubleshooting ability, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions.
  • The ability to process cash and card transactions, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • A valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly beneficial in this role:

  • Experience working in a government agency or public sector organization.
  • Knowledge of BMV procedures and regulations.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology systems.
