We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient engagement and customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support.
Schedule and Location
* Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends)
* Location: Remote
Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Answering patient calls regarding EOBs and researching balances
* Managing patient refunds
* Processing patient payments
* Providing a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients
* Demonstrating extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
* Consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics and goals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections
* Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
* A thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivation, multitasking, and a team player mentality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
