Experienced Technical Customer Support Specialist – Vacation Rental Industry Expert

Our platform empowers property owners and managers to efficiently manage and market their rental businesses online. We're seeking a tech-savvy professional to join our team as a Technical Customer Support Specialist, fully remote from any location in Latin America or the Caribbean.

About the Role

As a Technical Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll use your technical expertise to provide top-notch support to our customers. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, ensure high customer satisfaction, and become an expert in the arenaflex software. Your primary goal will be to assist our customers in connecting arenaflex with the main reservation platforms integrated with our platform, such as Airbnb. In cases of connection issues, you'll take the initiative in finding the root cause and solving it whenever possible, by investigating the problem while assisting the customers.

How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Technical Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance to users on different connection types
  • Proactively troubleshooting complex technical issues with clients related to our platform integrations
  • Taking appropriate action and guiding customers to resolve their issues
  • Responding to requests for assistance via email, tickets, or chats
  • Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring high satisfaction
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing support
  • Reporting customer feedback and issues to relevant teams and following up as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit?

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in technical customer support or a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Patience, attention to detail, and strong logical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM and support tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or Freshdesk
  • Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Eagerness to learn about technology
  • Availability to work in weekends

How Can You Earn Extra Bonus Points?

Familiarity with major OTAs (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway/VRBO, Expedia) is a plus!
