Job Summary

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional phone and chat support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring that they have the information and resources they need to succeed. You will navigate online to verify the credentials of our healthcare professionals, follow up with them to confirm their credentials, and handle follow-up phone calls to check on the status of their shifts. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires a strong customer service background, technical savvy, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

* Manage large amounts of inbound or outbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive prompt and courteous service.

  • Manage multiple chat channels at one time, providing real-time support to our healthcare professionals.
  • Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive consistent and accurate information.
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research and provide solutions and/or alternatives to meet their needs.
  • Access company and client resources provided to accurately handle the call, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive the information they need to succeed.
  • Perform Data Entry and Customer Service skills, maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be able to navigate online efficiently, accessing the resources and information needed to support our healthcare professionals.
  • Work requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, verifying their credentials and following up with them to confirm their availability.
  • Identify customers' needs, research to see if request has credentials needed, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to meet their needs.
  • Skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, and remain positive and professional in all customer interactions.
  • Flexibility to cross train as requested, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications

* 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a strong background in phone and chat support.

  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online efficiently and access company and client resources provided.
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working remotely.
  • Quick learner and able to work independently, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive prompt and courteous service.
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required, ensuring that our healthcare professionals receive support from a trusted and reliable partner.

Pay & Benefits

* Starting pay - $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance.

  • Work hours - Shifts between 8:30am-7:30pm (CST) Work Days - Mon-Fri and rotating weekends.
  • Paid Training - 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST), ensuring that you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
  • Status - Full Time 40 hours, with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Equipment Provided Option

* Equipment will be shipped to you for full-time permanent employees, ensuring that you have the tools and resources needed to succeed in this role.

  • Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection).
