Role Overview

As a Chat Support Specialist focused on abandoned cart recovery, you'll be the first point of contact for potential patients who have initiated but not completed their online visit or purchase. Your goal will be to re-engage these users, address their questions or concerns, and guide them toward completing their visit or order. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, managing a dynamic chat queue, and collaborating with our customer support, marketing, and operations teams to relay feedback and improve patient experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage inbound chat conversations: You'll be responsible for responding to users who abandon their carts or do not complete registration, providing clear, accurate, and compassionate responses to their questions or concerns.

  • Identify common barriers or concerns: You'll use your problem-solving skills to identify common barriers or concerns and provide solutions to help users overcome them.
  • Use scripts, tools, and sales techniques: You'll utilize scripts, tools, and sales techniques to re-engage users and help them through the decision-making process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You'll work closely with our customer support, marketing, and operations teams to relay feedback and improve patient experience.
  • Maintain performance metrics: You'll track and maintain performance metrics for response times, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service: You'll need previous experience in customer service, live chat, or online sales, with a strong focus on healthcare or telehealth a plus.

  • Excellent written communication skills: You'll need to be able to quickly build rapport with users via chat and provide clear, accurate, and compassionate responses to their questions or concerns.
  • Empathetic and solution-oriented: You'll need to be empathetic, solution-oriented, and comfortable handling objections or sensitive topics.
  • Tech-savvy: You'll need to be tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work independently: You'll need to be able to work independently and manage a dynamic chat queue in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in healthcare: A background in healthcare, wellness, or e-commerce is a plus.

  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms: Familiarity with telehealth platforms, HIPAA compliance, and patient privacy best practices is a plus.
