Job title: Senior Network Engineer/Trainer Company: LS Technologies Job description: LS Technologies currently has an opening for a Senior Network Support Engineer/Trainer. This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Airspace Security and Enterprise Operations (NASEO) Directorate. The NEO Directorate is responsible for providing safe and efficient flight services of the National Airspace (NAS) facilities, systems, and equipment. Specifically, this position will support the FAA's AJW-B100 Enterprise Operations Group. Job Description: The individual will provide support to the FAA AJW-B100 Enterprise Operations Group related specifically to identifying, developing, and delivering network specific technical training in person and online to members of the Enterprise Operations teams located in Atlanta Ga and Salt Lake City Ut supporting the Network Enterprise Maintenance Centers (NEMC). Individual will be expected to learn and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the identified FAA systems and will create and conduct new user and refresher training on these systems. Trainings will occur up to 4 times annually as demand requires and will be conducted in either Atlanta or Salt Lake City. Individual will be asked to document experience in creating and conducting network and systems level technical training. Primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Develop courses and conduct training on FAA systems including but not limited to; NAS Message Replacement (NMR), Automated Message Handling Systems (AMHS), Weather Message Switching Center Replacement (WMSCR), Automated Weather Observing System Data Acquisition System (ADAS RASP).
• Develop and conduct training for: Networking, Internet Protocol Monitoring Tool (IPMT) workshops, NAS Overview briefings, and new systems such as Enterprise Information Display System (EIDS) and FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS), Central Site System Weather and Flight Data) (CSS-WX and CSS-Flight Data).
• Develop and conduct training for Integrated Enterprise Services Platform (IESP), Linux, VMWare, SWIM Flight Data Processing System (SFDPS), NAS Common Reference (NCR), Aeronautical Information Management Modernization system (AIMM) (after deployment), Identity and Access Management system (IAM).
• Additional courses as they are added by agency need.
• Preparation is required prior to teaching courses.
• In addition to course training, induvial may provide support to maintain briefing and training material currency.

The focus will be on developing and conducting training in support of the technology and systems used by and supporting the NEMCs. Previous teaching experience in teaching and developing courseware is required. Requirements:

• 8 Years minimum relevant related experience in Operating Systems, Software Design and/or IT/Networking related training.
• Documented teaching experience or Basic IT Training (BIT)
• Documented technical background (virtualization, networking, software)
• Documented writing ability (technical documents)
• Documented experience in LINUX, UNIX, VMWare, or equivalent.
• Previous FAA experience a plus.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong background in networking and/or teaching preferred.
• Must be an independent, innovative and highly self-motivated individual. Must work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly orally, verbally in writing in English.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Engineering, Math, or Science) are required.
• Applicants must possess or meet eligibility requirements for gaining a security clearance.
