Key Responsibilities:

As a Beginner Level Chat Support Work at Home Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming customer service questions via chat support on our websites and remote social media accounts
  • Providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business) preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Proficiency in using technology, including remote social media and website chat functions
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access remote social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of at least 10 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or call center environment

  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
