We are on the lookout for an experienced Administrative Support professional to join our growing team. As the Administrative Support, you will be in charge of file setup will be responsible for setting up new claim files submitted by insureds, claimants, agents and clients. This role involves handling documentation, phone communication, mail processing, and data entry, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review new loss information
- Set up new claim files in the claim system
- Generate and prepare initial acknowledgement letter
- Communicate with other administrative staff via email, phone and Teams
- Maintain accuracy in recording and updating information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, knowledge & expertise
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Experience in a service-oriented business
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
- Ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining high quality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with PDF editor software
- Understanding of basic insurance terminology
