Responsibilities
- Organize and update the company's tax database
- Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations
- Follow industry trends and track changes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
- Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business
