Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our operations team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and entering a wide range of data into our digital systems, ensuring that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. Your work will support various departments, including customer service, logistics, and operations, helping to maintain our high standards of service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inserting customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking output
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Applying data program techniques and procedures
  • Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations
  • Keeping information confidential

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a data entry role

  • Additional certification in Office Management is a plus
