Key Responsibilities

As an Amazon Customer Care Center representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to presale inquiries by phone, email, and online chat regarding fit, fashion trends/styles, product availability, and specials, guiding customers through the ordering procedure online.
  • Addressing and resolving post-order inquiries regarding delivery, billing, and shipping.
  • Utilizing a range of software tools to address client inquiries.
  • Helping consumers with both domestic and international concerns by working with outside shipping contractors.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school graduation or its equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in the retail, service, or customer service industries.
  • Proficient in basic math with the ability to compute refunds before and after discounts, and apply specified percentages, tiered promotional codes, and partial discounts to orders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the capacity to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and speech as well as to listen to and interpret customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Flexibility with a full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends and evenings.
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while upholding standards for productivity, quality, and service.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Fluency in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or Russian.
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and software tools.

Compensation and Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary of $19.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $53,600 per year in our highest geographic market.
