Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you'll be responsible for assisting customers who have received notification pertaining to a past rental or previous transaction. Using customer-provided information, you'll craft acceptable solutions to address our customers' needs, ensuring that they receive the support they require to get back on track. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer-focused attitude will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist customers on the phone and by chat, providing solutions to their concerns and resolving issues related to past rentals or previous transactions

  • Use customer-provided information to craft acceptable solutions, ensuring that customers receive the support they need
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude, providing exceptional service and ensuring that customers feel valued and supported
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring that you're equipped to provide the best possible service to our customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum 6+ months customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Dual monitors are required, and you'll need to have a quiet, private work area to ensure that you can focus on providing top-notch support to our customers
  • Friendly and caring tone, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly, approachable manner
  • Knowledgeable about various customer needs, with the ability to maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to offer tailored solutions
  • Ability to display empathy in adverse environments, showing understanding and compassion when assisting with customer concerns
  • Efficiency in navigation, with the ability to quickly and accurately navigate multiple software applications and systems
  • Typing and language skills, with a normal typing speed and strong spelling and grammar skills for professional written communication

Training and Education

As a Part-Time Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you'll receive comprehensive training and education to ensure that you're equipped to provide the best possible service to our customers. This will include:

  • 2 weeks of instructor-led concept courses, along with self-lead courses to be completed
  • Ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Interactive mentorship and call/chat support from Advanced Agents
  • Access to arenaflex's online U-Haul University, providing a wealth of knowledge and resources to support your growth and development

Technical Requirements

To work from home as a Part-Time Customer Escalations Phone Agent, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:

  • Computer requirements and internet speed will be verified, if interviewed. Additional requirements may apply.
  • Computer specifications:

+ Windows 11 or MacOS 13 Ventura or newer + 16GB (Minimum) of RAM/memory or higher (Recommended: 32GB) + Windows processor must have CPU benchmark score of 6,000 (Minimum) or higher (Recommended: 10,000) + Mac processor must be Intel Core i5 or higher, M chips acceptable + SSD internal storage with 5GB (Minimum) free space
