The Role
As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our customer support team, interacting with visitors on our clients' websites via our state-of-the-art online chat software. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quick and accurate assistance to customers, answering their questions and resolving their issues in real-time. You'll be expected to work independently, but also as part of a larger team-oriented environment, where collaboration and communication are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
- Create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately
- Promote interest in client products and services
- Continually portray and project a positive and professional image
- Provide administrative support to the customer service team
- May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
Essential Qualifications
* Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
- PC keyboarding and internet experience needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
- Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
- Upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality
Preferred Qualifications
* The ability to compose professional emails
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with online chat software and customer support platforms
