As a IT Quality Assurance & Business Analyst you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Ensure all activities align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board, executive team, and IT leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory, security, and interoperability standards.
  • Facilitate change readiness and adoption of new systems or enhancements through training and support.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language.
  • Translate technical concepts into terms understandable by business users and vice versa.
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT projects.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate system functionality and quality.
  • Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
  • Support the implementation of new systems and enhancements by providing training and user documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and interoperability standards through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test automation platforms to manage requirements and testing activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission, and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintain patient and staff privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance roles.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test automation platforms.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent preferred.
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification desirable.
  • Home/Virtual Office location.  
  • Must have a dependable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with the laws of the State.
  • Meets all applicable agency policies and procedures related to health screening and required testing.
  • TRAVEL: Up to 10% travel within the U.S.
