Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Virtual Assistant to join our team and play a critical role in driving our financial operations and accounting functions. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, and contributing to the development of our financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Virtual Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects and tasks, including:

• Directing center GL accounting teams covering asset report, opex, and global accounting, and developing opportunities for colleagues' growth and development.
• Taking responsibility for planning, audit, and accuracy of all financial, administrative, and investor reporting.
• Supporting new and existing research and products by working cross-functionally to manage risk, and build and maintain adaptable accounting processes.
• Recognizing opportunities for automation of manual processes and leading system implementations to streamline accounting and reporting processes.
• Managing key vendor relationships with auditors, outsourced accountants, technical accounting advisors, and key partners.
• Working with the broader arenaflex Finance team to analyze financial performance, provide recommendations to senior leadership, and support key initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a strong combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities, including:

• Four-year college education with 3+ years of moderate experience in senior accounting roles at a mix of public organizations, late-stage startups, and/or public accounting firms.
• CPA or CA with a deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements for different types of legal entities.
• Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize and lead high-priority projects on concurrent timelines.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, as demonstrated by the ability to convey complex ideas across various audiences.
• Experience working with modern software and systems, especially NetSuite and Zip.
• Strong analytical skills, including working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of leading multiple projects and initiatives.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems and software.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach and mentor team members, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
