About the Role
As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce teams. You will work closely with our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes and guest satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: ### Key Responsibilities
- Performance Analytics and Forecasting: Conduct forecasting, advert hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions. Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas for improvement, and develop personalized analyses from start to finish.
- Measurement and Analytics: Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/preserve reports. Monitor data quality and accuracy, and collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results.
- Data Storytelling: Build shows and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data. Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners.
- Process Execution: Execute programs critical to business operations under strict timelines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
### Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
Familiarity with forecasting
, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
Proactive interest
in understanding the "why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
Strong attention to detail
and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
Effective communication skills
(verbal, written, and visual)
Desire to excel
in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
Experience with SQL
and R or Python ### Nice-to-Haves
Solid knowledge
of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
Knowledge of data visualization best practices
and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
Excellent SQL skills
and fluency in R or Python
Ability to quickly adapt
and learn new tools and skills
Ability to maintain and develop relationships
with partners/clients/team members
Graduate degree
