Why You'll Love This Role
As a member of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud
- Collaborate with development teams to develop and deploy web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
- Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Proactively monitor and manage server farm activities and hardware, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, and datacenter cycles
- Foster a culture of sharing and collaboration among team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for improvement and innovation
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
What You'll Need for Success
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or technical lead in a similar role
- Strong understanding of IT business activities, system requirements, and processes
- Proficiency in server organization, cloud innovations, DevOps, containerization, and server and application monitoring
- Ability to investigate complex issues and develop creative solutions or workarounds
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or technical lead in a similar role
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins and Artifactory
- Experience with server and application monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and LogDNA
