Responsibilities
As a Virtual Medical Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Entering patient information, medical history, and treatment plans into our electronic health record system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all data entered to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
- Organizing and maintaining electronic and paper data entry files to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Retrieving patient records as needed for healthcare providers and other authorized personnel.
- Conducting audits to identify and correct any data entry errors.
- Updating and maintaining patient records to ensure they are current and accurate.
- Complying with all data confidentiality and security policies and procedures to protect patient information.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely data entry.
- Communicating any data entry issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
