About the Role

As an Integration Engineer (Implementations) within Motive’s Partner & Ecosystem Engineering team, you will be the bridge between our high-quality integration development and our customers' live environments. While our development team builds the core logic, you are responsible for the successful deployment, configuration, and long-term delivery of these solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor, working directly with customers to implement integrations across various platforms like Mulesoft, Workato, Zapier, and others. This role is perfect for a technical professional who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and the "last mile" of technical delivery without needing to focus on heavy active coding.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the deployment of custom integration solutions built by the development team, ensuring they are correctly configured for the customer’s specific environment.
  • Utilize tools such as Mulesoft, Workato, and Zapier to set up, test, and refine integrations based on customer-specific requirements.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during the implementation phase, participating in customer calls and managing email communications to ensure project success.
  • Identify and resolve configuration-level issues to ensure integrations provide "wow" functionality and meet deadline requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand business challenges and ensure the implemented solution meets the customer's key needs.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers' IT departments to help them realize the value Motive’s platform provides to their organization.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the internal Motive stakeholders in sales, marketing, customer success, and R&D departments

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience (3+ years) deploying and configuring enterprise-level integrations (experience with Mulesoft is a plus, but heavy active development/coding is not a strict requirement).
  • Certifications for one of the integration platforms like Mulesoft, Workato, Zapier, or Boomi is preferred.
  • Understanding of authentication standards such as OAuth, SAML, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Strong ability to build productive client relationships and communicate technical concepts clearly via phone and email.
  • Experience working within an Agile SCRUM environment to manage work prioritization and deadlines.
