Job Summary

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining patient data, processing prescriptions, and performing various administrative tasks to support our pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient data, including demographic information, medication lists, and treatment plans

  • Process prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to patients
  • Perform data entry tasks, including updating patient records, tracking medication inventory, and monitoring pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and arenaflex's confidentiality policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with a focus on data entry and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and pharmacy management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and arenaflex's confidentiality policies

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with arenaflex's pharmacy management system and EHRs

  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a residential care community or long-term care setting
  • Certification in a related field, such as pharmacy technology or medical assisting
