Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and driving business growth. Your primary focus will be on providing personalized service to customers, addressing their financial needs, and promoting arenaflex's products and services. You will work closely with our Store Operations team to ensure seamless customer interactions, maintain accurate records, and meet performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer experiences throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.

  • Assist in customer account management by accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
  • Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.
  • Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Conduct vehicle appraisals accurately using the assessment tool.
  • Enter and maintain customer information in the Point-of-Sale system with accuracy and integrity.
  • Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
  • Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with customers and peers
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
  • Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands for this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing

  • Prior cash handling, cash drawer/vault management experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
