IT Change and Release Manager

As our IT Change and Release Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all changes and releases to our systems are carefully planned, tested, and implemented with minimal disruption to our business. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IT processes and the ability to effectively manage complex projects. Develop and maintain a comprehensive change and release management process for all IT systems and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and prioritize changes and releases based on business needs and impact. Plan and coordinate the implementation of changes and releases, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and approval processes are followed. Monitor and track all changes and releases, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or delays. Identify potential risks and issues associated with changes and releases, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact to the business. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices related to change and release management. Lead and facilitate change control meetings to review and approve proposed changes and releases. Proactively communicate with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior management, to provide visibility and transparency into the change and release process. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success and impact of changes and releases, and identify areas for improvement. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in change and release management, and make recommendations for process improvements and automation. Train and mentor team members on change and release management best practices and procedures. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to manage changes and releases for third-party systems. Continuously analyze and optimize the change and release management process to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Act as a subject matter expert for change and release management, providing guidance and support to other IT teams and business units.
