- Identify PFG brand “voids” in OPCO assortments and recommend like-for-like conversions from national/packer brands, quantifying financial upside and penetration lift.
- Accelerate PFG brand penetration with national/regional multi-unit customers via consultative engagement with the National Account Team and key decision-makers.
- Deliver brand capability presentations and lead product cuttings; coordinate product samples to support customer evaluation and conversion.
- Gather detailed pricing inputs and recommend pricing strategies that achieve acceptable profit margins for National Account business.
- Own follow-through on conversion opportunities, communicating outcomes to suppliers and stakeholders.
- Support supplier negotiations by helping secure pricing contracts needed to enable conversions.
- Track and monitor sales performance tied to brand conversion and penetration initiatives.
- Partner with acquisition teams to identify comparable PFG brand products to convert from national brands, buying group private brands, or acquired distributors’ private labels.
- Collaborate with Corporate Category Management to develop and promote PFG brands within managed categories and continuously benchmark against competitors.
- Partner with Marketing to incorporate new product rollouts and selected PFG branded items into internal and external promotions and advertising.
- Coordinate cross-segment alignment (Core-Mark, Vistar, Green Rabbit, PFG Manufacturing) to build awareness and promotion of targeted PFG brand items.
- Use market trends, insights, and analytics to build sales stories and new item presentations for field sales and procurement teams.
