Caterpillar Inc. seeks Software Engineer at its facility located at 5205 N. O'Connor Boulevard, Irving, TX 75039.

Perform all programming, project management, and development assignments. Work directly on complex application/ technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls. Work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems. Drive application development focused around delivering business valuable features. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness. Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results. Telecommuting: 100% Telecommuting Allowed.

REQS: This position requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in software engineering, Information Systems or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) 2 years of experience designing and developing software applications in CRM; (2) Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software in large scale CRM Orgs; (3) Datastores such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, or Oracle; (4) Developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases; (5) Application architectural patterns, such as: MVC, Microservices, or Event-driven; (6) Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins, GoCD, Azure Devops etc.; and (7) Working within an Agile framework such as Scrum.

Summary Pay Range:  

$112,923 – $158, 480

Compensation and benefits may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market, location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.  Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
