Senior Accountant (Remote)

Remote role Full-time Open position

Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring monthly account reconciliation for accurate records.
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies while overseeing the general ledger.
Analyze costs, recommend strategies for optimization, and evaluate financial risks to implement controls.
Develop and manage budgets, providing financial forecasts to support decision-making.
Support Cordatus's client in back-office accounting functions, including managing A/P & A/R, bank reconciliations, and preparing periodic financial statements.
Mentor junior staff and assist team managers with various tasks.
Interact with clients through video calls (Zoom + MS Teams) and respond to queries via email/Slack/MS Teams live chats.
Enter invoices and other accounting data into cloud-based accounting systems.
Streamline accounting functions and operations for efficiency.

Job Specifications

ACCA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
Fluent spoken and written English for effective communication with U.S.-based clients.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accurate records and seamless remote work with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.
Comfortable working remotely as per US Time zones from Monday till Friday.
