Social Media Specialist

Job Summary: Champion Novae’s brands across digital platforms. Focus on implementing Novae’s social media strategy, generating content ideas, overseeing the execution of social campaigns created by our advertising agency, and proactively monitoring and responding to social media engagement. The Social Media Specialist will also provide timely feedback to ensure content is factually accurate, aligns with our brand standards, and enhances our social media presence.

Essential Functions

  • Generate creative and strategic content ideas for social media campaigns, collaborating with the advertising agency to bring them to life.
  • Work with our agency to develop and manage social media content strategies that align with Novae’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
  • Review, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on content produced by the advertising agency to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee and manage the social media syndication program, ensuring timely and relevant content reaches dealer social profiles.
  • Analyze social media metrics and user data to inform strategy and optimize engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing and broader marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with updating Novae brand websites to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Execute dealer email campaigns supporting marketing and sales goals.
  • Coordinate orders of POS materials and dealer apparel as needed.
  • Stay informed on social media best practices, platform updates, and industry trends to keep Novae at the forefront of digital engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management, strategy development, and analytics.
  • Deep passion for social media as a communications and branding tool.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Business Suite, Sprout Social).
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and basic web publishing.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and creating engaging campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the trailer industry or related markets preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management software preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively engage with external agency partners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of creativity and enthusiasm for the Novae brand and our products.
