[Remote] Field Service Technician (Remote Reno, NV)

This role involves diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues, installing and servicing equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service that drives client satisfaction, retention, and trust
• Diagnoses, repair, and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues to reduce downtime and callbacks
• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping & Mailing equipment, ensuring clients are fully trained and confident in their use
• Manage a multi‑zip‑code territory within 2.5 hours of Reno, Nevada, with up to 80% driving time
• Use hand tools and small power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment always

Skills

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B)
• Enjoy working with and repairing mechanical or electrical components
• Are comfortable with significant driving time and working independently in the field
• Are motivated by the opportunity to earn additional income through service and parts sales
• Can lift 55+ lbs. and bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods
• Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Are familiar with Windows, PCs, and basic networking
• Have experience with automated or electro-mechanical equipment
