Simulation Analyst
Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and resilient environments. They are seeking a Simulation Analyst to support Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance study efforts, performing high fidelity modeling and simulation of satellites and aircraft for various customers.
Responsibilities
- Modeling various ISR systems
- Need to design studies and implement trade studies to demonstrate objectives
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation input and results
- Analyzing large amounts of data
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Generating graphs and briefs to support study findings
- Presenting findings to senior decision makers
Skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 1+ years experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- Willing to work on-site Chantilly
- Proficiency with Python and data manipulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of GEOINT collection phenomenologies (RF, EOIR, SAR, …)
- Knowledge of spacecraft orbits and attitudes
- Previous Modeling and Simulation Experience
