PT Contract Digital Marketing Manager, health tech Agency

We are KNB Communications, an award-winning PR and marketing agency specializing in healthcare, health tech, and life sciences. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our ranks. You are creative and energetic, and have a strong sense of what resonates with multiple target audiences on various platforms. You can quickly create content that moves an audience to action. You are enthusiastic and proactive about sharing ideas, confident in securing buy-in, and quick to react to changing trends in audience engagement. We are looking for a positive freelancer, who combines the data-driven approach of digital marketing with creativity. As a highly creative and energetic Digital Marketing Manager for KNB, you will work with our Account teams to develop and execute strategic digital marketing strategies for specific health tech accounts. These strategies will generate awareness, engage stakeholders and influencers, and drive growth. You will develop and share metrics aimed at tracking the effectiveness of our marketing tactics. Primary Responsibilities

  • Capable leader in performance marketing
  • Strategically develop and execute innovative and measurable digital marketing campaigns that have a meaningful impact on clients’ success.
  • Create concepts, content, and reports for relevant marketing campaigns.
  • Leverage analytic tools used by the firm — HubSpot, Google Analytics, content distribution services, project management tools, online surveys, media monitoring, KPIs, ROI, etc. Optimize campaigns to yield optimal results.
  • Draw meaningful conclusions from campaign data and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Evaluate all acquisition channels as well as remarketing tactics.
  • Provide data-driven advice on paid digital advertising (i.e. paid social media, Google Search & Display Ads, etc.) and effectively implement.
  • Support account teams to create integrated and measurable communications programs for clients.
  • Review audience engagement metrics across platforms (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.) and translate them into actionable steps.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end, scalable social media campaigns (paid and organic).
  • Support clients with initiatives such as website design and development, traffic, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university required
  • Five to seven years minimum related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Google Ads and Analytics certifications and experience.
  • HubSpot certifications – Inbound, Email, Content
  • Must be active on all major social networks
  • Project an extremely positive “can do” attitude and utilize sound judgment with client interactions
  • Social media management, Google Analytics, SEO and content generation
  • Quickly understand complex healthcare domains, competitive landscapes and varied audiences
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to constructive feedback

Must-have Experience

  • Exceptional communications skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and effectively organize client work product
  • Client-facing and presentation experience with exceptional communications skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Email marketing, create and design newsletters, landing pages, + and content generation
  • Creative graphics and design experience (Canva + Adobe)
  • Social media management and tracking software
  • Google Analytics
  • SEO best practices, auditing, and keyword identification
  • Digital advertising, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, X, and Meta
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Google Workspace, models and analysis

Pluses

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and/or previous roles with a healthcare-focused organization
  • Websites management, page and landing page creation
  • Experience with SEO practices
  • Basic HTML or equivalent web language
  • Video creation, editing and production
  • Cision/Muck Rack media monitoring software
  • PR industry background
  • Creative graphics and design software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign)

Location

  • This position is 100% Remote.
  • Office operates in Eastern time zone.
