Job Title: Azure Infrastructure & Networking Customer Engineer/Consultant Location: 100% remote USA About the Role: Customer Engineer for Azure IaaS. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Azure networking and network security, hybrid cloud environments, and on-premises infrastructure. You’ll lead engagements focused on migration, modernization, operational excellence, and resilient architecture using frameworks like the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF). Role type: Engineer to advise on architecture, consulting, and support to help customers drive solutions and resolutions. Job Title - Azure Infra and Networking Consultant Required Skills: - Technical experience with Azure infrastructures, Cloud Architecture Design Patterns - CAF and WAF - 8+ years’ experience with customer facing roles in Cloud Infrastructure, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshooting - Broad knowledge of Cloud services with deep understanding of Azure Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure VMware Solution), Azure Monitor (Log analytics Workspace, KQL, DCRs, AMPLS), Azure Network (Hub/Spoke and SD-WAN Architectures / Azure Virtual WAN, Azure DNS, Private Resolver, Route/S2S VPN, Private endpoints and Private Links), Azure Network Security (Azure Firewall, External NVAs in Azure VMs, WAF), Hybrid services (Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery and Backup), General Azure PaaS knowledge (SQL MI, App Services, APIM, App Gateway, LBs) Responsibilities: - Lead customer engagements on Azure migration, modernization, and resilient architecture using CAF and WAF - Advise on architecture, provide consulting, and support resolutions for Azure IaaS, networking, security, and hybrid environments - Plan, deploy, operate, and optimize Public/Private Cloud and on-premises infrastructure - Demonstrate strong customer service, problem solving, communication, and ability to interpret needs of customer executives Qualifications: - Understanding of Modern IT Architecture and Strategy - Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing Public/Private Cloud and on-premises - Advanced Azure certifications are preferred (AZ-305 / AZ-104 / AZ-700) - Characteristics of importance include but are not limited to customer service, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability to read/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders Location: Remote Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $115K-125K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
