Job title: CTE Instructor Company: Graduation Solutions Job description: Graduation Solutions is seeking an innovative educator for the position of CTE Instructor. This position reports to the Director of Learning and primarily leads the strategic plan goals for the effective delivery of instructional best practices, implementation of academic courses, analysis of student achievement and outcome data, along with overall operations for the department. The ideal candidate will foster an alignment to the company mission, vision and core values while possessing excellent interpersonal skills, and will have a track record of student-centered and mission-driven decision making. This is a hybrid position allowing for flexing of on-site and remote work opportunities related to corporate and departmental needs and goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? This is an onsite position with allowance for virtual hours occasionally approved by the Director of Learning ? Serves as the Teacher of Record for assigned courses. ? Responsible for the in-person facilitation of student learning using the blended learning approach. Responsibilities include small group/individual tutoring, assignment feedback, tier 2 student remediation and enrichment needs to promote a successful student experience. ? Plans essential standards lessons that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the student ? Prepares for small group instruction and shows written evidence of preparation at the request of the supervisor. ? Guides the learning process through the use of established clear objectives toward the achievement of department curriculum goals and state standards. ? Employs a variety of instructional techniques consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. ? Assesses student accomplishments on a regular basis, and provides progress reports as required. ? Provides daily review of LMS Dashboard to monitor student course progress. ? Working alongside the mentor department and conducts frequent academic outreach to ensure continuous course progress and academic achievement for all students. ? Works collaboratively with HUB staff to create a positive and nurturing on-site environment that is developmentally appropriate and conducive to learning. ? Maintains accurate and complete records required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation. ? Attends in-person staff meetings and serves on staff committees as requested.. ? Makes provision to be available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the regular instructional day when such encounters are required or requested under reasonable terms. ? Performs all other duties as assigned.
