Marketing Copywriter Edison, NJ Freelance Remote $40 - $43.33 /hr Our client, a global consulting services organization, is seeking a Copywriter with strong pharmaceutical / life sciences experience to support their team for ~8 weeks of work, with the possibility to extend. Please note: this a fully remote position but you must be willing to work EST hours. Responsibilities: - Craft compelling advertising / promotional short form copy for digital channels - primarily email to start - Content author templated work in Adobe tools from end to end, including: creating original content, editing, structuring and managing - Turn complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives that connect with various audiences through thoughtful messaging and precise language - Ability to write across various forms, including creative concepts, messaging, social media, paid ads, marketing material, blog posts, video scripts and website content - Ability to understand business objectives and unify disparate ideas into one creative concept - Proficient project management skills: communicate clearly, gather information, conduct basic research, brainstorm and ideate with clients and peers, assess requirements, identify issues, make decisions, provide estimates and recommend solutions Requirements: - At least 5 years of copywriting experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences / healthcare space - A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work experience - Portfolio showcasing marketing / promotional copy for a highly regulated industry - Proven experience working in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJM) - Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills - Strong attention to detail and organization skills - Proactive attitude and comfortable in a client-facing role - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Temperament to work in a collaborative but virtual environment, including receiving and implementing client feedback - Advanced problem-solving skills to identify, resolve and overcome challenges - Ability to manage work assignments, track time and document project notes - Understands urgency in responding In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
