Content Marketing Manager, AIO (B2B)
About the position Safeguard Global is seeking a Content Marketing Manager, AIO (AI Optimization) to lead B2B content strategy and execution with a focus on AI-driven discovery, enterprise buyers, and complex global workforce topics. This role is responsible for ensuring Safeguard Global’s content is authoritative, discoverable, and trusted across traditional search and emerging AI-powered platforms. You’ll translate complex HR, payroll, compliance, and global employment concepts into clear, compelling content that supports demand generation, brand authority, and sales enablement — while adapting content strategies for how decision-makers increasingly rely on AI for research and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a B2B content strategy optimized for AI-powered search and discovery (AIO)
- Create and manage content that supports the full buyer journey, including blogs, whitepapers, guides, landing pages, case studies, FAQs, and thought leadership
- Optimize content for AI visibility, entity-based SEO, and structured data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across AI-generated responses
- Partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams to align content with pipeline goals and global priorities
- Audit, refresh, and expand existing content to improve performance in organic search and AI-driven channels
- Use analytics, SEO, and AI tools to measure performance, identify gaps, and guide content investment decisions
- Manage editorial calendars and collaborate with subject matter experts, freelancers, and agencies
- Monitor industry trends related to AI search, B2B buying behavior, and global workforce regulations, adapting content accordingly
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in SaaS, HR tech, payroll, or professional services
- Proven success building content strategies that drive organic growth, lead generation, and brand authority
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and evolving AI-influenced search and discovery environments
- Experience translating complex, regulated topics into accessible, authoritative content for enterprise audiences
- Hands-on experience with content and SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, CMS platforms)
- Excellent writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to connect content performance to business outcomes
- Experience working cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organization
