Job description: Hunting Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors for all subject areas:
- Reading Comprehension
- Math - all levels ranging from foundational/elementary school to college-level math. Algebra/Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus are desired
- Science - Chemistry, Physics, Biology - all levels, including AP
- US History and World History - all levels, including AP
- Engllish
- Foreign Languages
- Writing
- Other subjects areas are welcome: Economics, Pyschology
- College Exam Prep (SAT/ACT) - for reading. writing, math
- 4-year degree is required.
- This is an in-person position. A candidate must be able to work in-person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
- Certification/License a plus, but not required.
- Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in subject areas are welcome.
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
- Bring your skills and expertise to help students develop.
- Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, or a small group of up to 4.
- There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop.
- No parent-teacher conferences
- Flexible, part-time hours afternoon, evening, weekend and summer. Wa are open every day.
