Job Description

As an Online Chat Team Lead at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading our online chat team and ensuring that our members receive exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of online chat representatives and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting performance standards and providing excellent service to our members.
  • Maintaining the daily operations of our online chat platform, including monitoring chat volume, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that our system is running smoothly.
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our online chat team.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that our online chat team is aligned with our overall business strategy.
  • Providing exceptional service to our members, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations to improve our online chat team's performance.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online chat support and implementing new ideas and strategies to improve our team's performance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as an Online Chat Team Lead at arenaflex, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of representatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience with online chat software and platforms, including tools such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including the ability to provide exceptional service to our members.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a financial institution or credit union.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, including credit cards, loans, and deposit accounts.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as Asana or Trello.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP).
