Process Engineer III - EBM

Location Address: 123 Main Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30346 Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America) The Process Engineer III will lead the planning and implementation of new production lines, coordinate with project managers to ensure appropriate platforms and processes are selected for new products, will diagnose, troubleshoot, & solve production process issues, and provide support and guidance to junior process engineers. Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities Foster a Culture in which all Company employees share common purpose & comply with applicable laws & our Guiding Principles; Consults regarding business process engineering, process measurements, change management, education and training; Identifies opportunities for business process improvement; Ensure compliance to quality standards; Support development of new products and develop processes for plastic forming processes and secondary processes; Assist in the implementation of cross functions; Directs the management of outsourced projects; Incorporates a common process methodology in all re-engineering processes; Work with plant leaders and Engineering during transfer of new processes to Production; Plan and carry out experiments and provide data analysis to define new process parameters and control limits; Provides upgrades to process controls; Use statistical methods for product and process analysis; Develop resolution to routine technical problems and execute solutions within developed timelines; Participate in reviews of product designs and mold designs for assigned projects; Take responsibility for own personal and professional growth; Actively participate in internal departmental activities; Participate in project reviews and department meetings; Work independently and under minimal to no supervision; Trains blow mold operators and equipment mechanics. Other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations Blow Mold Manufacturing Experience Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Performance Management 6 Sigma Good Manufacturing Practices Root Cause Analysis Safety Awareness & Intervention Problem Solving Analytical Driving Toward Success Training Machine Operators Creating a Learning Environment Influencing Others Process Systems & Development Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Managed Quality Improvement Build & Lead Teams Preventive & Predictive Maintenance CMMS Project Management Altium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!
