Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Technology SCM Category Manager to join our growing and impactful Team. As a trusted advisor, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of Technology suppliers, particularly those related to Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting complex and high-value contracts, leading strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and drafting of contracts. You'll work closely with cross-functional Teams to ensure suppliers successfully meet business objectives, maximize supplier value, and mitigate our risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations - Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize Air Operations Technology spend - Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contract terms and conditions - Draft and manage contracts to ensure compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures - Collaborate with cross-functional Teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives and deliver high-quality products and services - Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier contracts and relationships - Develop and implement strategies to maximize supplier value and reduce costs - Mentor and coach more junior level employees in the Technology SCM space - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Technology SCM
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology Supply Chain Management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and contract management - Proven track record of success in managing complex and high-value contracts - Excellent negotiation and communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines - Experience working with cross-functional Teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field - Certification in Supply Chain Management, such as CSCP or CIRM - Experience working in the airline or aviation industry - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements - Experience with contract management software and tools
