Supports providers in the region by reviewing in-basket folders and dispositioning them promptly.Key Position Details:Must live in MN or WI40 hours per week, Monday-FridayMostly remote work with occasional onsite meetingsPosition will consist of InBasket support and virtual visitsJob Description:In accordance with a defined schedule, accesses and reviews all in-basket folders for assigned providers within the region. Messages and results are dispositioned as needed to provide optimal patient care.Provides clinical care for patientsCompletes comprehensive patient assessments.Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness.Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician.Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment.Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care.Refers for specialty care when determined.Consults with physician when patient needs outside of Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, diagnosis or treatment plan is unclear.Participates in health care teamPromotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff.Acts as resource to members of the team.Works with primary care team for program development.Acts as liaison with outside agencies as needed.Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMaster's degree Family Nurse Practitioner program requiredDoctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree preferred2 or more years of Primary Care NP or PA Experience requiredLicensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire orLicensed Registered Nurse - WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services required upon hireBLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 DaysDEA upon hire requiredPhysical DemandsMedium Work*:Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently
