Consulting Pharmacist The Consulting Pharmacist at Fuze Health plays a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services. Operating as an individual contributor, this role works cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Support & Oversight: Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians as needed to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services, including the delivery of medications and products to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all required documentation for services rendered and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Drug Security: Safeguard legend drugs and ensure proper handling, storage, and security in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the pharmacy quality assurance program to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and patient safety.
  • Patient & Provider Communication: Regularly correspond with patients and healthcare providers via telephone, offering medication consultations and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Education & Guidance: Support the Pharmacy Operations Leader in educating pharmacy staff and staying current on regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Patient Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of patient profiles, medication information, and all sensitive health data.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
  • Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Ability and willingness to work at a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to support pharmacy operations.
  • A deep commitment to putting patients first and upholding high ethical standards.

Please note the schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday: 9a-5:30p ET or Tuesday-Saturday: 12p-8:30p ET. Please note that while this position is remote, candidates must reside within the State of Ohio. Benefits: The compensation range for this position is $61.00-$64.00/hour, in addition we offer a range of benefits including: Full-time employee benefits include: dental, vision, and multiple group medical plans to choose from, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, group life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA), commuter benefits, employer-paid short-term (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and additional supplemental insurance plans (spouse life insurance, legal insurance, an employee assistance program, home health testing kits, and a fertility medication discount program). Employees are also provided flexible vacation time, accrued paid sick time, 10 paid holidays, (2 floating holidays for full time non-exempt employees) , and eight weeks of paid parental leave for eligible employees, additional paid weeks for the birthing parent, 4 weeks paid caregiver leave, and a Lifestyle Spending Account allowance each month.
