Job Summary

As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll work closely with the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management to prevent potential loss and dishonesty, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a strong store partnership with our teams. You'll be responsible for acting as a visual deterrent, wearing a body-worn camera, and exercising sound judgment in decision-making to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the protection of our Company brand.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty

  • Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure preparedness in critical situations
  • Wear a complete arenaflex-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to maintain a professional appearance and enhance store security
  • Greet customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio
  • Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department, observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management
  • Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a secure and safe environment
  • Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management

  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise judgment in critical situations
  • Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, prioritizing and organizing workload and managing time effectively
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment
  • 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a strong passion for customer service and loss prevention

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a loss prevention or security role, with a strong understanding of store security protocols and procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential security risks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a strong focus on customer service and team collaboration
